T3 Launches Big: Agency-Within-An-Agency to Help Big Business Market to Small Business
September 27, 2006
Small businesses in America are booming at an estimated market size of 25 million companies and a projected worth of $5.3 trillion. Big businesses recognize the huge marketing potential, but are struggling to cost-effectively market to and make a connection with a group so fragmented.
T3 Big will help large companies develop positioning, strategy, segmentation models, media planning and integrated marketing programs to gain relevance and market more effectively to small business.
"In working with, mentoring and speaking to small business owners and marketing directors around the country, I have witnessed first-hand the disconnect between big business and small business," said Gay Gaddis, T3 president and CEO. "Both sides want to work with each other, but information, sales and long-term relationships are getting lost."
"The fact that T3 is a small business and that we've spent almost 15 years marketing to and talking with small business owners provides a unique perspective," said Gaddis. "We know what works and what doesn't and can help build a bridge with T3 Big."
Big will operate as an agency-within-an-agency at T3, following the company's collaborative "think tank" approach. Staff will be pulled from T3 account management, account planning, creative, media and production teams.
