January 29, 2008
T3 (The Think Tank) was honored Monday for its Marriott Hotels and Resorts Web marketing creative work at the 51st Anniversary Adrian Awards Gala in New York presented by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
T3's "Plug In" experiential site outperformed its competitors placing Platinum - the highest industry honor. Selected from over 100 Gold award recipients, "Plug In" is one of 17 entries to receive the award. The "Plug In" site introduces the latest innovation in Marriott guestroom technology, the "plug-in panel."
Guest are able to interactively explore how the panel enables connectivity of multiple portable devices such as laptops, MP3 players, cameras and gaming devices to the in-room 32-inch flat-panel TV. The result is a fluid, engaging experience demonstrating how guests can toggle between work and play in the comfort of their rooms.
In addition, T3 received two Bronze awards for its "Plug In" banner ads and the "Plug In" integrated campaign created in partnership with mcgarrybowen.
