T3 Takes Multiple Hospitality Marketing Honors at Adrian Awards

AUSTIN, Texas — Jan. 27, 2009 — T3 (The Think Tank) was honored Monday for its work with Marriott and Universal Orlando Resort at the 19th annual Adrian Awards Gala in New York presented by the Hospitality Sales & Marketing Association International (HSMAI).
T3’s “Plug In” Roadblock Ad for Marriott Hotels & Resorts beat out numerous competitors to win a Gold award. Combining video, live-action and computer-generated images, the Plug In reach-over roadblock banner was designed to pique the curiosity of travelers and encourage them to visit www.plugintomarriott.com, where they could learn about the features of the high-definition LCD televisions and plug-in panel.
In addition, T3’s Reveal Renaissance campaign for Marriott’s Renaissance Hotels & Resorts took both Silver and Bronze awards. RHR guests are explorers at heart, so the campaign targeted sophisticated stimulus seekers. T3 developed an experiential Web site with a user-generated content promotion, online ads, e-mail and a Facebook fan page with a companion application that encouraged discovery and interactivity.
T3’s Script Your Trip site for Universal Orlando Resort won a Silver award. Scriptyourtrip.com lets users creatively discover their dream vacation and cast their family members in the lead roles. Using this online vacation planning tool, visitors follow a multi-step interactive process that allows visitors to design their ideal vacation, exploring shows, rides, attractions and even hotel options.
