T3 Advances Plans to Bring Think Tank under One Roof
May 08, 2009
AUSTIN, Texas — May 8, 2009 — Integrated marketing agency T3 is moving forward with plans to bring its Austin office under one roof.
The agency, which also has offices in New York and San Francisco, will be housed in the former Texas Medical Association building on the southeast corner of MLK and North Lamar, across from Pease Park. Remodeling of the 36,000-square-foot building is currently underway, with the design phase recently completed.
The new office space will be open, collaborative and contemporary, while also maintaining some of the historical elements of the building and facilitating energy conservation. The design will lend itself well to furthering the agency’s use of cutting-edge technology, connecting employees to the outdoors with a rooftop deck and encouraging interaction with new additions like a cafĂ©.
“We look forward to bringing our staff closer together in an environment that encourages increased collaboration and idea sharing. Designed for long-term efficiency, our new location will allow us to maintain the T3 culture and stay close to Austin’s Central Business District,” said Lee Gaddis, COO.
T3’s local employees currently office in five turn-of-the-century homes on Rio Grande and West. The agency will begin moving staffers to 1801 Lamar in the coming months and hopes to complete the transition to the new location by April 1, 2010.
