Keeping with the theme of the conference, "Women Entrepreneurs Owning the Future", Gay Gaddis participated on a panel that encouraged women entrepreneurs to grow their businesses. She offered insight to help the audience of over 450 people overcome challenges in their businesses such as developing an effective business plan and retaining high-quality employees.

In addition to the conference panel, Gay served as a judge to help select award recipients for the Make Mine a $Million Business program, a collaborated effort between Count Me In and OPEN from American Expresssm designed to help women business owners reach a million dollars in annual sales.
