This year's conference was the 2nd annual event put on by the America-China International Foundation. With an emphasis on women and innovation, the 2006 America-China Women Business Conference promoted partnership and friendship between accomplished women executives and entrepreneurs from both countries.

On October 3, Gay participated on a panel entitled, "East meets West Women Leadership." This session focused on each panelist's leadership perspectives and offered advice for the future of women in business around the world.
